We are mobile across Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire as standard. Below are the towns we work in most often, each with a page covering what we do there and the local quirks worth knowing. If your town is not listed, it does not mean we will not come — ring and ask.
One Van, Three Counties
Our patch runs from the High Peak in Derbyshire, across the Staffordshire Moorlands and down into the Potteries, and out west through mid and south Cheshire. It is a genuinely varied bit of the country to work in — moorland roads a thousand feet up, salt-gritted Cheshire lanes, motorway commuter towns strung along the M6, and dense terraced streets in the cities. Vehicles wear differently in each of them, which is why each town below has its own page rather than the same paragraph with a name swapped in.
Wherever you are in the list, the offer is the same: we come to your home, your workplace or the roadside with a fully equipped van, tell you honestly what is wrong, and give you a price before any work starts. Bigger jobs can be booked in with us instead of being done on a driveway in bad weather.

Derbyshire
The High Peak is our home ground — Buxton and the villages strung along the A6 — plus Ashbourne in the south and the city of Derby beyond it.
Cheshire
Across the tops from Buxton and out into the salt towns and market towns of mid and south Cheshire.
Staffordshire
Down the A53 and A515 into the Moorlands, the Potteries and the county town.

Questions About Our Patch
My town is not on the list. Will you still come out?
Probably. The sixteen pages above are the places we work most often, not a boundary fence. If you are within reasonable reach of Derbyshire, Staffordshire or Cheshire, ring and tell us where you are and we will give you a straight yes or no rather than messing you about.
Do you charge more the further out I am?
Not within the areas listed here. A job in Nantwich is priced the same as a job in Buxton. If you are well outside the patch we will say so before you commit to anything, not afterwards.
Can you come to my workplace rather than my house?
Yes, and for a lot of customers that works better. As long as whoever owns the car park is happy for us to be there, we can service or repair the vehicle while you are working.
Do you cover motorways?
We cover the ordinary road network and business premises. If you have broken down on a live motorway carriageway or hard shoulder, call the emergency services or your recovery provider first — that is a job for a recovery truck, not a mobile mechanic, and your safety comes before the repair.
Which services can you do at my address?
Servicing, diagnostics, brakes, batteries and electrics, lighting installs, tracker and camera fitting and dashcam installs are all done on site. Heavier work such as clutches, cambelts and engine repairs is booked in with us instead.
